Heat Blankets

Heat blankets, also known as curing blankets or heat mats, are essential tools in the manufacturing and repair of composite materials. They provide precise temperature control, uniform heat distribution, and can significantly reduce the curing time compared to ambient curing.

Heat blankets are often made from durable materials that can withstand repeated use and harsh working conditions including silicone rubber and Teflon coated fiberglass.

Heat blankets are ideal for curing composite materials including fiberglass, carbon, and epoxy prepregs. They are commonly used for curing parts in aircraft manufacturing and repair, high performance composite components for vehicles, construction and repair of composite boats and marine structures, manufacturing and repair of composite wind blades, and high strength lightweight sports gear, such as bicycle frames, hockey sticks, and tennis rackets.

Kuhlmann Heat blankets are made of durable and flexible material and can withstand up to 90°C (194°F). They are equipped with a Kuhlmann Digital Temperature Controller, Straps for fixed installation, and can be put together to cover large surfaces.
