Polyethelene Bagging Film

Room Temperatures and Small Molds
For room temperature and exotherms up to 180 degrees F. 24" wide and .0025" thick, this low density polyethelene film is a tube and only two sides must be sealed to create an envelope bag.

Nylon Bagging Film

Bag Building and Higher Temperatures
This film resists temperatures up to 350 degrees F, is .002" thick, 60" wide, is puncture resistant, and very strong. Do not count on any bagging film stretching to meet the contours of the mold. You must crease pleats to ensure full depth coverage within the mold.

Nylon Release Peel Ply

Maximum Air and Resin Transfer
This fabric provides an easy release and a textured surface for secondary bonding or painting. Both air and resin will transfer through every pore, ensuring a void-free laminate. Use strips anywhere secondary bonding is to occur. Service temperature is 350 degrees F, 60" wide, and .004" thick. Not recommended for phenolic systems

Polyester Release Peel Ply

Moderate Resin Transfer
This polyester peel ply is scoured, heat set, and leaves a fine surface for priming or secondary bonding. It can be used at service temperatures of 350 degrees F and is resistant to phenolic resin system degradation. 60" Wide.

Low Temperature Release Film

Retain Resin for High Gloss
This high gloss elongation release film can be used on wet or prepreg moldings up to 200 degrees F. It is perforated with holes of .045" diameter on 1/2" centers to allow for passage of air and excess resin. This film will hold more resin than the peel ply releases. Not recommended for phenolic systems. 60" wide.

Breather and Bleeder

Easy to Drape and Binder Free
This high fill non-woven polyester will easily drape to conform closely to the contours of your part. It does not contain any binders which could close off air flow within the mold, and it will readily wick up excess resin. .003" Thick, 4 oz/sq. yd, 60" wide

Gray Sealant Tape

Leak Free
This tape will seal the bag to aluminum, steel, fiberglass, nickel, and graphite tool surfaces yet strips easily after cure. Use to plug leaks and tears in the bag that can develop during cure. Maximum service temperature is 350 degrees F. 1/2" wide, 1/8" thick, and 25' per roll.

Yellow Sealant Tape

Leak Free and Extra Tacky
This tape will seal the bag to aluminum, steel, fiberglass, nickel, and graphite tool surfaces while supplying more aggressive tackiness than #581. Extra tackiness makes this tape less likely to shift or spring leaks under vacuum but it can be more difficult to reposition if initial placement is not precise. Maximum service temperature is 350 degrees F. 1/2" wide, 1/8" thick, and 25' per roll.

Flash Tape

Releases Cleanly
This multipurpose polyester tape is used within the bag to hold other materials in place before the vacuum is pulled. It can also be used as a release film by applying it to mandrels and molds before lay-up. Highly recommended for temperatures over 400 degrees F. 72 yards per roll, 1" wide.
