Three New Made-in-the-USA Vacuum Pumps from Fibre Glast
We have expanded our vacuum bagging equipment lineup with three new WOB-L piston vacuum pumps, giving composite fabricators more options for matching vacuum performance, airflow and versatility to their specific application.
And all three new pumps are Made in the U.S.A.
Whether you're vacuum bagging a composite laminate, performing resin infusion, degassing resin or supporting other vacuum processes, selecting the right pump can have a significant impact on efficiency and results. The size of the part, required airflow and desired vacuum level are all important considerations when choosing a vacuum source.
Our three newest additions offer distinct performance capabilities for different types of projects.
2507-A Single-Head WOB-L Piston Vacuum Pump
The 2507-A Single-Head Vacuum Pump provides a compact, dependable vacuum source for a wide range of composite applications.

Delivering up to 2.32 cfm with a maximum vacuum of 26.6 in-Hg, it's well suited for vacuum bagging, resin infusion, degassing and other general vacuum applications.
Its single-head design makes the 2507-A a practical choice when you need reliable vacuum performance without the additional airflow of a larger pump.
2508-A Twin-Head WOB-L Piston Vacuum Pump
For applications where greater airflow is needed, step up to the 2508-A Twin-Head Vacuum Pump.

The twin-head design increases airflow to as much as 4.11 cfm, while providing a maximum vacuum of 26.6 in-Hg. The additional airflow makes the 2508-A particularly useful for larger vacuum bagging and infusion setups or other applications where more air needs to be evacuated from the system.
2509-A Two-Stage Vacuum/Pressure Pump
The 2509-A adds another capability to the lineup: it provides both vacuum and compressed air from a single unit.

Its two-stage design can achieve up to 29 in-Hg (98% vacuum), making it an excellent option for applications requiring a deeper vacuum. Its ability to also supply compressed air gives fabricators, laboratories and production environments additional flexibility without requiring separate equipment for each function.
For users who need both vacuum and pressure capabilities, the 2509-A offers a versatile two-in-one solution.

Choosing the Right Vacuum Pump
A bigger pump isn't automatically a better pump. The goal is to match the pump to the application.
Important factors include the size of the part and vacuum bag, air displacement measured in CFM, and the ultimate vacuum pressure the process requires. Higher airflow can evacuate larger systems more quickly and can help compensate for small leaks, while applications requiring greater vacuum levels may benefit from a pump capable of achieving a deeper vacuum.
