System 2001 Laminating Epoxy Resin is the evolution of high-performance composite resins engineered to raise the bar over our proven System 2000 epoxy. This next-gen formulation delivers superior fabric wet-out, greater toughness, and low odor, making it an ideal choice for demanding applications with fiberglass, carbon fiber, Kevlar®, and other advanced reinforcements.

System 2001 offers a clearer finish, higher mechanical strength, and a higher glass transition temperature (Tg) than its predecessor, even with a standard room-temperature cure. It’s also formulated for cold temperature stability, resisting crystallization during storage in low-temperature environments, making it an excellent epoxy resin for shops and climates where temperature fluctuations are common.

Choose Your Working Time- No Heat Required

System 2001 is 3:1 ratio and works with three optimized hardener speeds to meet your production needs::

• Fast Cure (#2035) – 35-minute gel time
• Medium Cure (#2074) – 74-minute gel time
• Slow Cure (#2160) – Extended 160-minute gel time

All three cure options allow for complete room-temperature curing without the need for elevated heat. However, for faster demold times and to increase Tg for high-temperature applications, post-curing can be used to boost performance.

System 2001 Epoxy Resin quart (#2001-A), gallon (#2001-B), and 5-gallon (#2001-C) units can be shipped via standard ground service, and by air, without hazard charges within the 48 contiguous United States. All System 2001 Hardener 1/2 pint (#2035-A, #2074-A, #2160-A), quart (#2035-B, #2074-B, #2160-B), and gallon (#2035-C, #2074-C, #2160-C) units can be shipped via standard ground service without hazard charges within the 48 contiguous United States. All sizes of System 2001 Hardener (1/2 pint, quart, and gallon) will be subject to a hazard charge if shipped by air. Please see our Hazardous Shipping Chart for more information about hazard fees. This resin requires hardener, which is sold separately in a variety of pot life cures (#2035 35-minute; #2074 74-minute; and #2160 160-minute).
