Why Order the Stitched Fiberglass Sample Pack?

Stitched fiberglass fabrics are bundled and stitched together, rather than woven, so there is no crimp in the yarn. As a result, these reinforcements offer optimized directional strength for finished composite parts.

The stitched fiberglass range includes biaxial, triaxial, unidirectional, and combination (COMBI) constructions across a wide range of weights from 440 g/m2 to 1200 g/m2. Each construction provides different directional strength characteristics, and the sample pack allows fabricators to compare the weight, drape, and texture of each option side by side before committing to a full roll purchase.

These fabrics are ideal for wet lay-up and infusion, and are compatible with epoxy, polyester, and vinyl ester resin systems. For this reason, stitched fiberglass fabrics are popular in the wind energy industry.
