Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) adhesives are two-component, 100% reactive structural adhesives for bonding metals, composites, and plastic parts. Because they are 100% reactive, there is no solvent to flash off. They are formulated for excellent impact, peel, and shear resistance, and most metals can be bonded without a primer. SciGrip SG 300-40 is supplied in 490 ml cartridges and mixes at a 10:1 ratio through a dispensing system. The Black SG 300-40 has a 40-minute working time; plan the assembly to be fixtured within that window. Bond clean, properly prepared substrates. No primer is required on most metals.
