Huntsman Epocast resins are two-part epoxy systems designed for structural reinforcement, composite bonding, and casting in aerospace and industrial applications. Fibre Glast carries two Huntsman Epocast resins: a laminating resin for wetting out fabric and building structural laminates, and a casting system for void filling, core reinforcement, and edge closeouts.
Why Choose Huntsman Resins?
A laminating resin must fully saturate reinforcement fiber to develop structural strength. Epocast 52 A/B's low viscosity and excellent wet-out are formulated specifically for this. A casting system requires compressive strength and dimensional stability under thermal load. Epocast 50-A1/946 delivers both at low density, making it well suited to aerospace core work where weight is a constraint.
