Extreme Conformability for High-Temperature Applications
High Temperature FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) Release Films are extremely durable and highly conformable. These films are designed to be in direct contact with your laminate. Due to its superior non-stick performance, FEP is especially easy to pull from your part once vacuum bagging is complete. These high elongation release films are more pliable than other release films and are suited for use in temperatures up to 500°F. Our High Temperature Release Films are available in two different styles:
- #3782 is a solid sheet with no perforations, so resin content for your laminate can be more closely controlled. The resin in your part stays in your part. Available in a 60” wide sheet
- #3787 is perforated with 0.015” diameter holes across the surface, spaced in ½” increments. Perforations allow excess air and resin to pass through which makes it well suited for vacuum infusion. Available in a 60” wide sheet.
Both styles can be used with all of the resins on our website, including epoxy, polyester, and vinyl ester
