What is the Fiberglass Sample Pack?

The Fiberglass Sample Pack (#4000-A) from Fibre Glast contains a 4" x 6" swatch of fiberglass fabrics and tapes. It is ideal for determining which material to use for your application. Each sample pack includes a coupon for $25 off your next order of $100 or more when purchased within 60 days. This sample pack does not contain Stitched Fiberglass (see #4007 Stitched Fiberglass Sample Pack for those).

Why Order a Sample Pack Before Purchasing Full Rolls?

Before starting any project, consider the needs of the finished part. How stiff, lightweight, abrasion resistant, or damage tolerant does the part or structure need to be? Each fiberglass fabric features its own unique weight, strength, and handling characteristics, which should be considered before starting any project.

The sample pack allows fabricators to compare the drape, weight, and texture of each fabric side by side to make the best selection for their specific application.
 
Fiberglass fabrics range from ultra-lightweight surfacing materials like the 2 oz (#241) through medium-weight boat cloths in the 6, 7.5, and 10 oz range, up to heavy tooling fabrics and woven roving. Weave patterns include plain weave, satin weave, and specialty constructions like Mock Leno and Leno. 

The sample pack provides hands-on experience with this full range, which is particularly valuable when selecting between fabrics with similar weights but different weave characteristics.

This item, when ordered alone, will typically ship in an envelope. Where possible, we will combine ordered items to reduce the number of boxes shipped.
