#4113 Fast Set Tooling / Prototyping Urethane Kit is a two-part urethane casting system for molds or parts. This metallic grey urethane cures rapidly, so it can be mixed, poured, and demolded very quickly. Most castings made with #4113 Fast Set Tooling / Prototyping Urethane Kit can be demolded in 30 to 40 minutes and can be put into service within a day. Parts and tools created with #4113 are heat resistant up to 250°F.
With low shrinkage and low exotherm during cure, this stable urethane kit is ideal for making medium to large complicated casts. Use this smooth, easy-pour system to quickly create tooling, patterns, molds, fixtures, and much more. This urethane has outstanding cured properties including: heat resistance, exceptional hardness, and excellent cured stability.
#4113 Fast Set Tooling / Prototyping Urethane Kit has a simple 1:1 mix ratio by weight or volume. Once mixed, this urethane has a 5-6 minute pot life. Pour the urethane very slowly to aid the release of air bubbles. When using #4113 Fast Set Tooling / Prototyping Urethane Kit, avoid water and all types of moisture contamination. Do not use this urethane kit with PVA Release Film. To ensure a proper release from a mold, use at least four layers of #4121 Non-Silicone High Temp Paste Wax.
