Our Color Gel Coats are mixed to perfectly match the color of your choice. In addition to our RAL colors, we have 720 more colors of Gel Coat available when you call in.
Color Gel Coat is designed to be used in mold to produce UV resistant, blister resistant, high-quality parts when laying up polyester or vinyl ester parts. They can be used in repair applications with an air inhibitor such as Duratec High Gloss Additive.
Color Gel Coats are available in quart, gallon or five-gallon sizes. Gel Coat kits are available in quart, gallon and 4-gallon cases and come with (#69) MEKP catalyst. One gallon of gel coat will cover approximately 40-80 square feet, depending upon application.

The RAL colors displayed on this website use a three-color display (RGB) and will not reflect the exact color distinguished by RAL Standards. For an accurate color depiction, you can purchase the #4008-A RAL Color Book which contains samples of the 188 RAL colors.

Color Gel Coat quart (#710-A) and gallon (#710-B) units and kits can be shipped via standard ground service without hazard charges within the 48 contiguous United States. 5-gallon quantity (#710-C) is considered hazardous (flammable) and will be subject to a hazard charge if shipped by standard ground. Color Gel Coat quart (#710-A) and gallon (#710-B) units and kits will be subject to a hazard charge if shipped by air. Color Gel Coat 5-gallon (#710-C) unit cannot be shipped by air. Please see our Hazardous Shipping Chart for more information about hazard fees. We will consolidate items whenever possible to minimize these fees.

You should purchase the kit unless you already have hardener in your workshop. The kits include: One quart of resin, with one 1 oz. bottle of hardener (#710/69-A) One gallon of resin, with three 1 oz. bottles of hardener (#710/69-B) One case of four gallons, with nine 1 oz. bottles of hardener (#710/69-BK)
This was a spot on match. I actually went through Contender to get the correct color of this boat and then ordered through the vendor they preferred. The color from their vendor was way off, like putting purple on blue. Went back and forth with the vendor and they assured us there could not be a mistint in the color they sent. Pretty much a waste of time so I did some research and found Fibreglast, found the color Pigeon blue and said what the heck and ordered it. When it came in a was an exact match we were blown away.
Will definitely be using Fibreglast again.
