One-Hour Working Time for System 2000

Compatible with our System 2000 Epoxy, this medium pot life hardener is ideal for standard part fabrication. #2060 has a one hour working time which eases frantic lay-up schedules and improves quality of most parts.

In sufficient mass, #2060 will cure completely at room temperature (77°F or above). However, when constructing 2 or 3 ply, thin laminates and when overnight demolding and sandability is required, some heat should be applied to the 2060 system. Only moderate heat is required to gel hard, as low as 90°F is usually sufficient. With higher cure temperatures, parts or molds will have a service temperature of over 200°F.

Pot Life: 60 Minutes

Mix Ratio By Weight: 100:27

Mix Ratio By Volume: 3:1

2060 Epoxy Hardener 1/2 pint (#2060-A), quart (#2060-B), and gallon (#2060-C) units can be shipped via standard ground service without hazard charges within the 48 contiguous United States.

All sizes of #2060 (1/2 pint, quart, and gallon) will be subject to a hazard charge if shipped by air.

Please see our Hazardous Shipping Chart for more information about hazard fees. We will consolidate items whenever possible to minimize these fees.

I have used this product in the past and recently purchased some more. It is a great product and the pot life gives you enough time to do some larger layups. For me, it gives me enough time to cover the larger parts of my rc airplanes with 3/4 oz glass. It does seem to stay a little tacky on the surface for a while but that is because of the thin layup that I am doing. If I would tent the object and leave a incandescent light bulb on that would probably generate enough heat to help the cure along and wouldn't get that tackiness. In the product description it says 90 F would be sufficient so I am going to try that on my next parts. All in all a great product
