2 lb/ft³. Pattern-Making and Moldless Designs

Our 2 lb/ft³ polyisocyanurate foam sheets have the same properties as the mix and pour foam, but come in rigid sheets of varying thickness. They are suitable for most sandwich core applications and are ideal for those which require insulating cores. This foam is easily cut and shaped with a sharp knife and sandpaper. Pattern-making has never been quicker! It can also be glued together to form blocks as thick as necessary for shaping functional moldless-type parts.

3M Super 77™ Spray Adhesive

Temporary Bonding

We have done some serious testing and have found that this adhesive works perfectly with the foam. In the event you make a mistake, simply cut out a 90° degree piece and glue in another piece. This adhesive is strong but can be repositioned for several days, allowing you to get the corrected piece sculpted into shape. This adhesive can also be used to adhere sheets together or blocks to blocks. Additionally, Super 77™ created a minimal bond line compared to any other adhesive – necessary for sanding two sections together.
