50" Wide, Twill Weave Black fiberglass is a dyed 2X2 Twill Weave fabric. It is sometimes used in cosmetic applications as an alternative to 3K 2X2 Twill Weave Carbon fabric and is generally about half the price. Of course, it does not have any of the strength properties of carbon nor will it have the same charcoal and black color appearance of true carbon.

Achieve the ultimate, high-tech composite look with Aluminized Fiberglass. Used for cosmetics, this fabric contains a thin coating of 99.99% pure aluminum on one side to create a highly reflective surface and the appearance of woven metal. Frequently misrepresented as "silver carbon fiber", this fiberglass fabric is used for adding extra flair to any composite project. Aluminized fiberglass is compatible with all of our epoxy, polyester and vinyl ester resin systems. (Typical full roll length is 125 yards) |
