Reinforcement for Edges, Avoid Fraying When Narrow Strips are Needed These narrow widths of fiberglass find many applications in selectively reinforcing edges, seams of molding, laminations, and pipe winding applications. The fully seamed edges avoid the problems caused by cutting narrow strips from fulll width fabrics. These tapes saturate easily and in most respects are similar to a 10 oz fabric. Plain weave construction.  |

1-1/2 oz/sq ft mat, 4" Wide, .045" Thick. Like the 1-1/2 Oz. Chopped Strand Mat described above, this mat tape is a 1-1/2 oz/sq. ft. chopped strand material available in a 4" width for selective reinforcement of seams, corners or edges of large parts. |
